THIS SITE IS NOW DEFUNCT.I was trying to build a site for the information & amusement of fellow Blade owners. Unfortunatly (no spell checker sorry) I don't have the time to keep updating the site so this is how it will remain. All the articles and things will remain but no new pictures will be published on the site. I would like to say thankyou to all the people who have helped by sending in their pictures over the years and anyone who has helped out with information. I will still respond to questions if anyone has them but it might take a while for me to get back to you. Thanks again. Birdy

NEWS

5th April 2008

As you may have noticed the website is undergoing some changes. I heard from a friend that black backgrounds are not in fashion this year so I am changing it all to a white theme. At the same time I am reviewing pages and hopefully changing them for the better. Please bear with me

If you have a good example of a standard FireBlade and would like the chance to get into Blade Day 2 for free then send me an email at bladeday2@redliners.net with details of your bike.

5th April 2008

Yet another update! The Interchangeable Parts Table or WOTFITSWOT has been updated to include Brake Discs from other bikes that fit Blades. Hopefully you'll find it useful. See it HERE

3rd April 2008

As you can see from the new banner in the middle of the page there is going to be another FireBlade day. Those of you who were lucky enough to be there the first time at Silverstone will remember it as a good day out if you really like FireBlades. It's on 23rd May (Friday before Bank holiday) and if you turn up early you might get on track for £10. Doors open at 9:00 am. Be there!!

29th March 2008

Another quick update. The TYRES section has been updated.

Additions to this website are like buses! You don't see one for three years and then 2 come along at once. I have devised a small table which shows clearly (I hope) which parts are interchangeable between different models of FireBlades. The chart covers all the 16in wheel models and parts that are most usually bought off ebay only to find the seller doesnt know what they are on about. You know the sort, adverts like "fireblade exhaust can 93-99". With the aid of this chart you can now see that the can for a 99 won't fit a 93 model. Check it out HERE Please bear in mind that the chart shows what will physically fit and work on the bike but does not guarantee the design or colour will match the rest of your bike. Basically if you think it will look ok on your bike then the chart tells you it will fit.

I have finally got around to adding all the pictures that people have sent me in the last THREE YEARS! My apologies to all those who sent them in. Check them out in the Gallery.
